Cherry was commissioned by Kent Wildflower Seeds to visualise their RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2025 stand for the Grand Pavilion. The aim of their display was to ask and answer the simple question: Why do we keep wildflowers in the fields and cultivars in the garden? Why not blend the two?
Kent Wildflower Seed’s exhibit was a celebration of British Flora- pairing native wildflowers and traditional garden favourites. The display needed to show a cottage garden scheme which takes inspiration from the plants found growing wild within the surrounding landscape. Drawing on the idea of borrowed scenery, Kent Wildflower Seeds wanted to show how a garden can sit in quiet conversation with the environment beyond its boundaries.
